A heart-warming story of a 6-year-old double lung transplant survivor being honored in Eustis, Florida as an honorary fireman.
Prior to his birth, cysts were already growing in Cameron Witsman’s lungs due to congenital cystic ademomatoid malformation, requiring a lung transplant at the age of four months.
He “recognizes the importance of serving others”, according to his mother Caroline Witsman about her son’s desire to become a firefighter when he grows up.
